Don Trachte (signing as Carl Anderson) Henry Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 10-12-52 (King Features Syndicate, 1952). Henry does a little retro-fitting to his "target" in this silent Sunday. Artist Don Trachte took over art duties on the Henry Sundays after creator Carl Anderson passed away in 1948. This example is in ink over graphite, with an approximate image area of 24.5" x 17.5" on closely trimmed Bristol board. Mild handling wear and board tanning; otherwise, Excellent condition.Auction Info
