Description

David Wright Carol Day Daily Comic Strip #550 Original Art (London Daily Mail, 1958). Leading lady Carol Day seems to have become involved with a clever thief. A concerned jeweler cautions her to "keep away from him till this [situation] is cleared up." Anxiety is etched into every face in this finely drawn episode from the narrative arc known as "Brother Brushes." Richly inked graphite composition on textured illustration board. Image area of 17" x 5.25". Light handling wear and adhesive seams on patched-in dialogue balloons. Excellent condition.
