The strip features Carol Day and her best friend Nora alongside key supporting characters in a tense exchange centered on boxing and intrigue, reflecting the sophisticated, noir-inflected tone that made Carol Day one of the most celebrated British newspaper strips of its era. It is also Carol's only foray into the world of sports. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 17" x 5.25". Foxing around the edge. Pencil marks and whiteout . Handling wear.
