David Wright Carol Day #2699 Daily Comic Strip Original Art (London Daily Mail, 1965). Carol moves between shadows and suitors, her elegance framed by masterful cross-hatching in this scene from the "Adam Boone" episode that ran from March 16 to July 3. Carol Day captivated readers worldwide through The Daily Mail and 70 syndicated papers from 1956 until Wright's death in 1967. Created in ink over graphite on thick illustration board with an image area of 17" x 4.75". The logo and all texts are printed paste-ups. Lightly toned, with some corner and edge wear. In Very Good condition.
