Description

David Wright Carol Day #1483 Comic Strip Original Art (London Daily Mail, c. 1960s). Though internationally syndicated to some 70 newspapers, Carol Day remained based in London from its beginnings in 1956 until Wright's death in 1967, as King Features found the strip "too sophisticated" for the American market. Produced in ink over graphite with blue pencil on Bristol board with an image area of 17" x 5.25". Slight toning, text corrections in the last panel, and very light staining in the margins; otherwise, in Very Good condition.
