Description

David Wright Carol Day #1170 Daily Comic Strip Original Art (London Daily Mail, 1960). Carol and Edward sit by the shore after a nighttime drive in this episode from the "Money Matters" story arc. Wright illustrates his expert use of light and shadow as well as his trademark hatching, rendered in ink over graphite on a illustration board with an image area of 17" x 5.25". Slight toning, dust shadow along the bottom edge, marginal notes, whiteout corrections, with light soiling and edge/handling wear. In Very Good condition.
