Description
Dan Barry Flash Gordon Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 1-28-68 (King Features Syndicate, 1968). This stellar sixties Sunday episode has it all -- Flash Gordon, Dr. Zarkov, cool spaceships, and intrigue! The strip stat logo still credits the series to Mac Raboy; however, Dan Barry had taken over the Sunday strip art chores in December of 1967. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 20.75" x 14". Aside from some light toning to the page, marginal notes, and some glue residue from a missing text correction and a small blue stain in the last panel, the art is in Very Good condition.More Information: EDIT: Added note explaining why strip is credited to Dan Barry instead of Mac Raboy.
