Description
Dan Barry Flash Gordon Daily Comic Strips Original Art Group of 2 (King Features Syndicate, 1956). The Frogmen mercilessly attack the island in this set of dailies filled with sci-fi action, one of which features Flash Gordon himself in the final panel. These two strips from the "Kozy and Skurvy's E-Z Island" storyline are dated 9-1 and 9-6 of 1956. Crafted in ink and screentone over graphite on Bristol boards with image areas of 18.5" x 5.25". The boards are toned, with discolored shading film, whiteout corrections, smudging, light soiling, and handling wear. The 9-1 daily is missing a stat text correction in the second panel.
