Cliff Sterrett Polly and Her Pals Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 8-4-34 (King Features Syndicate, 1934). When Polly and Her Pals was included in the Library of Congress exhibition Cartoon America, it was praised for its unique graphic style, and is considered to be, together with Krazy Kat, the epitome of the Art Deco style in comic strips. The image area measures 25" x 5.5" and aside from being lightstruck, the art is in Excellent condition. Signed by Sterrett in its last panel.Auction Info
