Chic Young Blondie Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 11-19-50 (King Features Syndicate, 1950). How much livelier Blondie was, back when Young made frequent use of Daisy the Dog and her rambunctious pups. This classic episode is a dog-lover's delight, built around Dagwood Bumstead's invention of a dog-door "so they can come and go as they please." Disaster results, of course, but it's a comical variety of disaster. Yes, and how much livelier Blondie was, back when Dagwood had a foul temper and didn't care who knew it. Brilliant stuff, here. Ink over graphite on two sheets of Bristol board, with a combined image area of 17" x 15". Tanned with some soiling, there is discoloration in in the edges and a missing text correction. The logo is a replacement stat. Good condition.
