Chester Gould Dick Tracy Daily Comic Strips Original Art Group of 3 (Chicago Tribune, 1948). Tracy finally figures out Heels Beals' forgery scheme and moves to arrest him, and he knows that tailing Acres O'Reily will be the quickest way to pick up the pint-sized crook. Three great strips with iconic images of Dick Tracy, including 7-24-48, 7-26-48, and 7-27-48. Produced in ink over graphite on Bristol boards with image areas of 19.75" x 6". Pages are moderately toned, with handling and edge wear. Strip dated 7-26 shows significant handling and wear. Overall, in Very Good condition.Auction Info
