Description
Chester Gould - Dick Tracy Daily Comic Strip Original Art, dated 6-23-56 (The Chicago Tribune, 1956). Diet Smith drops in with an updated version of the two-way wrist radio, to the delight of Sam Catchem and Dick Tracy. The improved circuit gives it a range of 2500 miles instead of the original 500. When it premiered in January, 1946 the wrist radio was an instant success, giving the Tracy crimefighting team yet another tool to improve the odds. This strip marks the tenth anniversary of the famed invention. The art measures 16.5" x 5" and is in Excellent condition. From the collection of Larry Doucet.Auction Info
