Chester Gould Dick Tracy Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 2-19-49 (Chicago Tribune, 1949). When it comes to police drama in the newspaper strips, Chester Gould remains the undisputed master. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 19.75" x 5.75". There is light toning and and soiling- mostly along the edges, marginal pinholes, and production marks.
