Chester Gould Dick Tracy Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 2-18 -56 (Chicago Tribune Syndicate, 1956). From his Capone-and-Dillinger-styled mobsters of the 1930s and his flamboyant grotesque killers of the 1940s, Gould's artistic abilities are in full range in this episode. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with a matted image area of, 16.5" x 5". The board is toned, tape to the mat, has some creasing, marginal pinholes, and spots of soiling.
