Description
Chester Gould Dick Tracy Daily Comic Strip Art dated 6-23-45 (Chicago Tribune, 1945). Breathless Mahoney is after a basket of money, but her "boss's" gardener seems to have found it first! Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 20" x 6", the daily, titled "Basket Party", is in Very Good condition, with overall toning, particularly noticeable on the edges, pinholes, and marginal notes.
