Description
Charles Schulz Peanuts Sunday Comic Strip Snoopy Original Art dated 12-30-56 (United Feature Syndicate, 1956). Peanuts has more tropes and running gags than likely any other comic strip. Snoopy doing his "happy dance" is of course one of them. And this Sunday featuring Schroeder is one of the happiest we have ever seen! It comes with a letter of provenance from the original owner. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board, and signed in the last panel of the 22.5" x 15" image area. The logo is a discolored printed paste-up. The date in the last panel has been covered with whiteout for a reprinting in one of the various Peanuts books. The letter of provenance explains why the strip has been folded down the middle. Very toned and in Very Good condition.More information about Charles Schulz. See also: Schulz, Charles, Schulz, Charles Monroe Artist.
