Charles Schulz Peanuts Sunday Comic Strip Snoopy as World War I Flying Ace with Woodstock Original Art dated 2-18-96 (United Feature Syndicate, 1996). The World War I Flying Ace, a shot-up Sopwith Camel (Snoopy's doghouse), Woodstock, Snoopy's brother Spike, and Marcie (Peppermint Patty's friend) make this one of the most unusual Peanuts Sundays we have ever seen!
Peanuts comic strips featuring the WWI Flying Ace are highly-sought by fans. Strips with Spike are also rare and prized by collectors. We have never before seen one with both the WWI Ace and Spike (in the trenches)! What a treat! This is one very exciting Sunday with a whole lot of things going on for Peanuts fans to go crazy about. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 22.5" x 15". Personalized and signed as "Sparky" in the top margin. Schulz only signed "Sparky" for his closest friends. It is matted and Plexiglas front framed out to 34" x 27". In Excellent condition.
