Description

Charles Schulz Peanuts Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 3-19-64 (United Feature Syndicate, 1964). Stuck inside with Lucy on a rainy day doesn't seem so bad to Linus until he adds things up, in this memorable Sunday. Lucy can be the ultimate comic-strip villain at times, and her oh-so-pleasant "flannelgraph" presentation, delivered with a sweet, sisterly smile, masks the downright cruel disrespect she's always had for her poor brother's obsession with his security blanket. And of course, the kid in us always relates to likeable Linus, so his wide-eyed "shock of recognition" becomes our own in the strip's "cutting" climax. A classic! The ink on bristol art has an image area of approximately 22.5" x 15.25", and has been carefully trimmed to the panel borders; otherwise, it's in Excellent condition.
