Description

Charles Schulz Peanuts Sunday Comic Strip Original Art 9-14-52 (United Feature Syndicate, 1952). As usual, Lucy doesn't quite have it right, in this early Sunday. It's interesting to see how the characters seem to be "younger" than in later strips, even though Schulz only aged his characters a bit before stopping them as a certain age. Even Snoopy appears as a young pup here! The art is in ink on bristol, with an approximate image area of 22.75" x 15", matted to an overall 29.75" x 23.25". A few scattered stains; art is in Very Good condition, but will still display beautifully. Sunday examples from the early 1950s are getting harder and harder to come by; don't let this one slip away!
