Charles Schulz Peanuts Sunday Comic Strip Charlie Brown and Lucy Original Art dated 2-14-54 (United Feature Syndicate, 1954). The Peanuts daily comic strip started in 1950, however the Sunday strip only started in 1952, making this the 39th Sunday and an early example of the beloved and long-running series. You can see the earlier art style of the characters in this Sunday that was an evolutionary step from their early appearances to the more familiar appearance of how the characters looked in the later 50s and into the the 1960s. Crafted in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 22.75" x 15.25". Signed in the last panel. The logo is a printed paste-up. The board is lightly toned and in otherwise Excellent condition.
