Description
Charles Schulz Peanuts Daily Comic Strip Snoopy Original Art dated 1-1-68 (United Feature Syndicate, 1968). Four panels of the WWI Flying Ace grace this New Year's Day strip from 1968. Snoopy on his Sopwith Camel (doghouse), looking for the Red Baron, is an iconic Peanuts image. However it is rare to find original art featuring the Flying Ace. This is the first daily of this scene we have ever handled... and it's a great one! Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 27" x 5.5". It has been center folded between the panels and there are a couple of bends in the last two panels, but they would frame out quite nicely. Slight tanning and edge wear. Overall in Excellent condition.More information about Charles Schulz. See also: Schulz, Charles, Schulz, Charles Monroe Artist.
