Description

Charles Schulz Peanuts Daily Comic Strip Snoopy and Lucy Original Art dated 5-2-53 (United Feature Syndicate, 1953). The Peanuts characters have been a beloved part of Americana since their earliest appearances... and this is certainly one of those! This strip was released when the series was only about two and-a-half years old. Look how cute Snoopy was as a puppy! Produced in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 27.25" x 5". There is minor tanning, with some slight discoloration near the Syndicate paste-up, and a bit of foxing in the upper left margin. The strip has been scored and folded between in the gutter between the middle panels for mailing. Otherwise this is in Excellent condition.
