Charles Schulz Peanuts Daily Comic Strip Peppermint Patty Original Art dated 6-3-77 (United Feature Syndicate, 1977). This daily, using a cult-favorite background character, shows how Schulz's grip on current times kept this series fresh and entertaining for decades. The series was almost 30 years old at that that point! Peppermint Patty was a break-out star even though she appeared in the strip infrequently. She had first appeared in the 8-22-66 strip. This daily was created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 21.25" x 5". It is signed in the last panel. The board was folded between the middle two panels to allow mailing to the syndicate. It has since been mounted to a 24" x 7" piece of illustration board. In Excellent condition.
