Description
Charles Schulz Peanuts Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 8-8-57 (United Feature Syndicate, 1957). Looks like Snoopy has had all he can take of seeing Linus with his "security" blanket, so enough's enough in this classic daily. This became a long-running gag for the series. Who could ever forget that look on Linus' face in the final panel, after Snoopy zipped past and nabbed the blanket? Crazy! The art is in ink over graphite on Bristol board, with an image area of 27" x 5.5", matted and framed with glass for an overall size of 32.75" x 11". The art is signed with an inscription to Al Wiseman, presumably the cartoonist responsible for some of the best Dennis the Menace comic book stories. Very Good condition with small stains and the fold crease between second and third panels found on all early dailies.More information about Charles Schulz.
