Description

Charles Schulz Peanuts Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 12-13-52 (United Feature Syndicate, 1952). Lucy lets Charlie Brown in on her method of handling stress, in this delightful early Peanuts daily. Lucy made her first appearance in March, 1952 as one of the younger children, but she quickly grew up to replace Patty and Violet as Charlie Brown's primary foil. She's still in her "wide eyed" phase in this December '52 strip, but is quickly developing her "fussbudget" attitude. We love it! The ink and graphite art has an image area of 27.25" x 5", and is in Very Good condition, signed and inscribed "To Jerry with Friendship -- Charles M. Schulz. The date and syndicate blurbs have been obscured with white out, but the strip is featured in the first volume of The Complete Peanuts 1950-52.
