Charles Schulz Peanuts Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 10-30-85 (United Feature Syndicate, 1985). Leave it to the duo of Peppermint Patty and Marcie to bring a smile to every Peanuts fan's face. Marcie and Patty, "those two kids from another neighborhood," added a new spark to the Peanuts cast. As comics historian Rheta Grimsley wrote Good Grief! The Story of Charles M. Schulz, "For the first few years, Peppermint Patty served as a walk-on, a guest star who breezed in from afar. In 1971, her companion Marcie was introduced, and the other neighborhood began to coalesce as a true third ring." This uproarious strip has an image area of 21" x 5", and the art is in Excellent condition. The strip is inscribed and signed in its upper border, "Best wishes -- Charles M. Schulz (Sparky)."
