Description

Charles Schulz Peanuts Daily Comic Strip Original Art date 1-1-76 (United Feature Syndicate, 1976). Snoopy's back from his all-night New Year's Eve party with Woodstock in this January 1, 1976 strip, co-starring good ol' Charlie Brown. That Snoopy -- what a party animal! This daily is drawn in ink over graphite on Bristol board, with an image area of 27" x 6.5". The art was folded in half by Mr. Schulz for mailing (as are most Peanuts dailies), with a slight crease between the second and third panels. The art was at one time framed, with the artboard glued to a backing board, leaving rubber cement stains on the reverse. There's a slight bit of waviness to the board, which will not show when the art is reframed, and there are one or two tiny areas of discoloration from the white-out, used for art corrections; other than these very minor distractions, it's in Excellent condition.
