Charles Schulz Peanuts Daily Comic Strip Charlie Brown and Linus Original Art dated 1-4-62 (United Feature Syndicate, 1962). Linus' blanket is the topic of discussion on this daily strip! A long-running and much beloved gag was the fact that Linus carried a security blanket (and sucked his thumb) well into his grade school years. It allows for funny physical comedy gags, and more intellectual humor such as this one. Crafted in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 27" x 5.5". The board is very toned with some water stains. The board is also slightly curled. It has previously been folded between the middle panels to allow mailing to the syndicate. It has since been reinforced along that fold on the reverse with paper tape. Signed in the last panel, and signed again in the lower panel. In Good condition.
