    Description

Charles Schulz Peanuts Daily Comic Strip Baseball Themed Original Art dated 5-3-97 (United Media, 1997). Baseball themed strips are some of the most highly sought Peanuts strips. This one features a classic 'meeting on the mound' featuring Charlie Brown, Schroeder, and Lucy, followed by a scene with Sally. Created in ink and Zipatone over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 19" x 5.5". The Zipatone is coming loose in the last panel. Personalized and signed (as "Sparky") in the top margin. Items signed as "Sparky" are even rarer, as Schulz only used his nickname when signing items for his close personal friends. Matted to 25" x 11.25". In Very Good condition.
