    Description

Brad Anderson Marmaduke Daily Single-Panel Comic Strip Original Art dated 1-25-69 (John F. Dille Co. & National Newspaper Syndicate, 1960). The greatest Great Dane in the funnypapers provokes an indignant response -- "Mind your own business!" -- from a motorist in this classic example of a long-running feature. As Anderson himself would say, "It's doggone funny!" Ink over graphite with Zipatone shading on Bristol board. Image area, 17.75 x 8". Intact with light toning, except for a cut-away space in the upper portion (white space only; no art missing). Good condition. From the Ethan Roberts Estate Collection.
