Bob Lubbers Tarzan Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 11-7-51 (United Feature Syndicate, 1951) A great daily featuring Edgar Rice Burroughs' Lord of the Apes. Lubbers' Tarzan period has been overshadowed by his slightly later work with Li'l Abner's Al Capp. It is that 1950-54 hitch with Tarzan, of course, that established Lubbers as an ascending star of the profession. Created in ink over Zipatone over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 20.25" x 6.25". Moderate edge toning, and handlng wear. In Very good condition.
