Bob Lubbers Robin Malone Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 8-25-68 (NEA, 1968). Robin is feeling like 10 miles of bad road because she weighs 145 lbs. But Bob Lubbers' art makes her and her assistant Jo both look like sexy banked curves! Lubbers' years of working with Al Capp on Li'l Abner really show through on this page of beautiful women and highly animated (sometimes wacky) poses. And as a hidden bonus, be sure to check out the reverse side of the board for some smokin' hot graphite roughs that were light boxed through to the front. Rendered in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 24" x 16". The logo is a stat paste-up. The board has been folded down the right side (through the last panel) to allow mailing to the syndicate. In Excellent condition. From the Estate of Bob Lubbers.
