    Description

Bob Lubbers Robin Malone Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 10-22-67 (NEA, 1967). Political intrigue is in the air in this Sunday episode of Lubbers' own comic strip creation, Robin Malone. Always a lovely strip, it combined many successful elements into one series. This Sunday owes much to the adventure strips of old, and Milton Caniff in specific. Crafted in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 24" x 16". There are some nice graphite prelims on the reverse side that were lightboxed through to be finished. The logo is a pasted-on stat. The board has been scored and folded between tiers for mailing to the syndicate. In Very Good condition. From the Estate of Bob Lubbers.
