Bob Lubbers Robin Malone #67 Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 6-23-68 (NEA, 1968). Robin is a shrewd business woman and not someone to trifle with. But it sounds like someone is setting her and Dartmoor Dash up to trifle with each other a bit. Lubbers own creation, this strip allowed him to mix action with soap opera dynamics, and its star assured that he would always have a lovely lady to draw! Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 26" x 19". The logo is a stat paste-up. The board has been folded from top to bottom (through one panel) to allow mailing to the syndicate, and the bottom part of that fold has started to split. The reverse side has Lubbers preliminary sketch work on the figures. In Very Good condition. From the Estate of Bob Lubbers.
