Bob Lubbers and Al Capp Long Sam Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 8-16-54 (United Feature Syndicate, 1954). The finer points of love and marriage are discussed in this early strip from the first year when Al Capp was scripting. Produced in ink and Zipatone over graphite and blue pencil on toned Bristol board, with an image area of 19" x 5.25". Mild toning, trimmed top border, spots of whiteout, and production notes. Overall, in Very Good condition.From the Bobby G. Murphy Collection.
