    Description

    Billy DeBeck Bunky Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 6-22-41 (King Features Syndicate, 1941). Best known as the cartoonist/creator of such comic strip icons as Snuffy Smith and Barney Google, Billy DeBeck also contributed Bunky to the American comic strip landscape. A long-running strip (Bunky appeared in papers from 1927-1942), this late episode has an image area of 17.25" x 11", and has been hand-colored in watercolor. The first panel is a stat, but all the rest is original art, and aside from some light toning, it's in Very Good condition.
