Bill Watterson Calvin and Hobbes Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 1-21-86 (Universal Press Syndicate, 1986). The strip was only two months old when this daily was released. Fans know how rare an original Watterson Calvin and Hobbes comic strip really is... as rare as a talking tiger! Here, Calvin once again illustrates his "do it first, ask permission later" mentality. Clever and cute, this strip captivated readers from the start, and Watterson's fans are as loyal today as they were decades ago. This wonderful piece was created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 12" x 3.75". Signed in the first panel, and personalized and signed in the top margin. In Excellent condition.
