    Description

    Bill Holman Smokey Stover Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 3-22-36 (Chicago Tribune, 1936). Very early Sunday from this long-running screwball strip (it debuted as a Sunday page on March 10, 1935). Ink over graphite on Bristol board, with an image area of 19" x 12.5" and matted to 23.75" x 17.25". Very clean page, in Excellent condition. From the Estate of Richard Commer.
