Description

Berke Breathed Bloom County Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 9-7-86 (Washington Post Writers Group, 1986). Opus goes full arena rocker in private, thrashing through an imaginary solo with absolute conviction, then folds instantly when Steve Dallas, Milo, and the gang applaud. Bloom County's bravest penguin meets his least forgiving audience. This Sunday gag was drafted in ink over blue pencil on Bristol board with an image area of 19.5" x 13.5". Signed by Breathed in the last panel. Light toning, stat log, stat text paste-up in the last panel, light handling wear, and production tape on the side margins. In Very Good condition.
