Berke Breathed Bloom County Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 1-22-89 (Washington Post Writers Group, 1989). Roaches narrate their nightlife, tormenting a balding man, hijacking a baby's midnight screams, and infiltrating George Bush's dreams, while Opus staggers through the fallout like a shell-shocked campaign aide. This Sunday gag was drafted in ink over blue pencil on Bristol board with an image area of 19.5" x 13.5". Signed by Breathed in the last panel. Light toning, Moderate water staining with visible tide marks across panels, mold, rippling, production tape on the side margins, and handling/edge wear. Includes stat logo that has come loose from the page. In Good condition
