Description

Arthur Ferrier Eve #10 Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 1-14-53 (1953). Numbered #10 in the lower margin, this strip wasn't even two weeks old at this point this daily released. The date is taken from a stamp on the back and may not be the date that it actually appeared, but would be close. Already an accomplished and published cartoonist, this was Ferrier's first attempt at a continuity-based comic strip. Created in ink over graphite on thin Bristol board with an image area of 14" x 4.25". There is toning, with some minor stains. There is also some white paint art corrections. Overall in Very Good condition.
