Alex Raymond Secret Agent X-9 Daily Comic Strip Original Art Dated 8-1-34 (King Features Syndicate, 1934). "Dexter" (not his real name) and Evelyn frantically try to find her addled-brained father as he attempts to burn the entire place down... and she better be careful or that huge bow on her neck will go up like a forest fire! Created by Dashiell Hammett and Alex Raymond, this episode is from the first year when both were still working on the strip. We love that huge signature in the last panel! Produced in ink over graphite with blue pencil shading on Bristol board with an image area of 25" x 5.5". Tanned with edge and corner wear, it is in overall Very Good condition.
