Description

Alex Raymond Rip Kirby Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 8-23-56 (King Features Syndicate, 1956). Crusher and Desmond start building an elaborate ruse alongside a determined young actress, complete with Raymond's acclaimed use of light and expression that make his character's eyes twinkle. This strip was drawn and released in the last year of Raymond's life, one of the late installments into the oeuvre of a master. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 20" x 5.5". Toning, light foxing, edge wear, spot stains, and soiling. Signed by Raymond in the last panel. In Very Good condition.
