Alex Raymond Rip Kirby Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 4-10-46 (King Features Syndicate, 1946). Rip and Desmond compare notes and Detective Sullivan stakes out Mousy Blake's apartment. It's possible that Alex Raymond drew a substandard comic strip panel, but we have yet to find one. Another great example of the master of realism. Rendered in ink and tone over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 19" x 6". Board is lightly toned with noticeable edge wear, handling, and glue residue.
