Alex Raymond Jungle Jim Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 8-13-39 (King Features Syndicate, 1939). Gorgeous background scenes were one of the hallmarks of Raymond's jungle action/adventure series. This big beautiful strip was the "topper" companion for Raymond's Flash Gordon and the corner "stamps' feature both Flash Gordon and Ming the Merciless! Ink (with some red ink key lines) over graphite on illustration board with an image area of 24" x 11". The "Jungle Jim" logo is a modern low-res replacement affixed to the board. The toned board is matted to 28" x 15.5". Signed with an "AR" in the last panel. In Very Good condition.
