Alex Raymond Jungle Jim Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 6-14-36 (King Features Syndicate, 1936). Raymond demonstrates the lush inking and fine line that made him a comic strip legend in this prime period Jungle Jim. Jim and Lynne Chalmers are adventuring in China in this beautifully rendered and atmospheric example from only the third year of the feature. This ink on Bristol masterwork has an approximate image area of 24" x 11". There is some wear at the board edges, and a small piece in the upper right corner is loosely attached; otherwise, the art is in Very Good condition.
