Description
Alex Raymond Flash Gordon Partial Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 12-18-38 (King Features Syndicate, 1938). Missing only the left column, this is 2/3rds of the Sunday from this day, and features Flash in the top tier panels. This art was gifted to the consignor's father and has not been on the market before that we are aware of. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 16.75" x 19.25". The board is toned, with minor stains, and a striped-in "Next Week" title. Signed in the last panel, and Plexiglas front framed to 21.5" x 24".
