Description
Alex Raymond Flash Gordon and Jungle Jim Sunday Comic Strips Original Art dated 4-24-1938 (King Features Syndicate, 1938). The space opera Flash Gordon gripped the public as soon as it was released (just four short years before this episode). It was as much the exciting story arc as it was the fanciful space ships and sci-fi elements. This Sunday was no exception, as there is a Jailbreak!The topper for Flash is included as well. More great soap opera story arc mixed with intrigue and danger for Jungle Jim!
Both strips were created in ink over graphite on two separate illustration boards. They have a combined image area of 21.5" x 27.5". The boards are toned, with some corner wear, and both strips are signed. In Very Good condition.
