Description
Alex Raymond Flash Gordon and Jungle Jim Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 3-17-1940 (King Features Syndicate, 1940). The Flash Gordon Sunday included is from late in the "Ice Kingdom of Mongo" story arc that ran from March-1939 to April-1940. Dale Arden is looking like a feisty little kitten in her fur-lined parka and books. This Sunday comes with its matching dated companion topper Jungle Jim. They are both created in ink and red ink key lines over graphite on two sections of Bristol board. They have a combined image area of 19.5" x 25.5".
