Description
Alex Raymond Flash Gordon and Jungle Jim Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 7-14-40 (King Features Syndicate, 1940). Flash and Dale get captured while trying to escape a raging fire. On the topper companion strip, Jim and Kitty wash ashore after a shipwreck. The strips were created in ink over graphite on two sections of Bristol board with a combined image area of 19.5" x 25.5". The sections are lightly toned, with minor staining and handling wear. There are pinholes in the corner margins and the syndication strip is ripped.
